How does it work? A few weeks before GoNorth! Greenland 2010 began, all registered teachers received a Polar Husky Alert about Trackers 2010 Classroom Expedition. Interested teachers then entered their name into a drawing. We printed-out the name of every teacher who registered and put all those names into Tracker's travel  bag.  We then randomly selected 14.

Check back every day M-F to see where Tracker is & what she is doing in the classroom. It's going to be a howlin' fun adventure!

Tracker arrived in Mrs. Dudgeon's Grade 5 classroom at Wabasso Public School in Wabasso, Minnesota at 10:30 a.m.  She was greeted by some very excited 5th graders and was visiting each of them as the day went on. She went with the students to recess and lunch.  It's a good thing she is not camera shy!  She met some of the members of the Wabasso American Legion Auxiliary as they announced the top 3 poppy posters in our class.  She was able to be in a picture with those students and the posters that they created.

Tracker had an exciting and very long day.

She joined the 6th grade students from Wabasso School in a trip to
the new Target Field to watch the Minnesota Twins baseball game!!!
It takes almost 3 hours by bus to get to the game and then again
to get back home. The Twins won 3 to 2 against the White Sox. It
was an exciting game! The students were able to attend the game
as a reward for their hard work throughout the school year as
School Patrol members. They keep all of the students safe as they
walk to and from school each day.

Tracker enjoyed the day and slept well.

We enjoyed having Tracker with us this week.  We also had a student teacher all week.  As a goodbye to both of them we had an ice cream treat at the end of the day.  We will miss Tracker.  It was a fun week!
